Send Unlimited Free SMS with Airtel Connection in india

Send Unlimited Free SMS with Airtel Connection in india

This is particularly for all the airtel india users. By using this trick you can send unlimited free sms throughout India free of cost by using your airtel connection. There is nothing better than getting messages free of cost and that too throughout the country, no charge for the STD messages also. To start using this trick you just need to configure your airtel phone a little bit, the procedure to which is given below.

Procedure to get started given below

1. The first thing you need to do is create a new service message centre which can be easily done by accessing the message settings option.

2. Now select a name for your connection and the foremost thing is to use the number +919810051905 in the message center number field.

3. Once you are done with this you should set the preferred connection as the packet data. To this you need to go into the phone settings and look in the connections menu for the option of preferred connection.

4. The next step is to change the access point. Access point settings can be accessed from the internet message options and it should be changed to airtel live.

5. After doing this you are all set to use the trick but just remember one thing, you need to add a 0 before each number you want to send message.

This trick may turn out to be really good but as a matter of fact I have not tried this trick yet. So all those who are going to try this, leave back your comments for the ones who will be trying

AdSense Tip – Attract New Advertisers to your Site

Google AdSense is an auction based advertising system so your advertising revenue (or CPMs) will automatically go up if more advertisers choose to target your website.

The system, in simple English, works like eBay. You (the website owner) are selling ad space and the buyers (in this case, advertisers) are competing against each other to grab that space. The bid amount will therefore increase as more buyers enter the auction process thus benefiting the seller (you).

Increase your Site’s Visibility on the Google Ad Network

Advertisers are using tools like DoubleClick Ad Planner to determine which websites on the Google Ad Network they should target and you therefore need to ensure that your website is both visible and discoverable in these tools.

For instance, here’s a public listing of my blog on Ad Planner. This report is like a marketing brochure that you are handing out to an unknown number of prospective clients daily through Google and therefore it always should have updated information.

Advertisers can see the type of ads that are accepted on the site, the traffic details (pulled from Google Analytics), the topics that are covered by the site (categories) and other information that will help them quickly decide whether or not they should include the site in their campaigns.

In this video, Vijay Vachani of the AdSense team will walk you through the steps that are required to add your website to Google Ad Planner.

Step 1. If you have not added your website to Google Webmaster Tools yet, do that first. Sign-in to Webmaster Tools using your Google Account and add the site URL.

Step 2. Once your site is verified, go to the Publisher Center of Google Ad Planner and include the site** to your Ad Planner profile. If you have just added your site to Webmaster Tools, it may not immediately show up in Ad Planner.

Step 3. Finally, click the “Edit Site Info” link to assign a good description and relevant categories to your site. Google will automatically present a rough estimate of your site’s traffic to advertisers but you can give them a more accurate picture by allowing Ad Planner to use data* from your Google Analytics account.

In addition to creating your own Ad Planner Profile, you may also want to implement these three simple yet effective suggestions by Lauren Weitzman to attract advertisers:

  • Always allow text and image ads on your site.
  • Create channels for placement targeting so advertisers can target specific slots on your site (see #16).
  • Always put the main ad unit above the fold.

[*] When you share Google Analytics data with DoubleClick Ad Planner, the same data may also be displayed in Google Trends for Websites.

[**] You might want to use Chrome or Firefox when using Google Ad Planner because some of the features of the site don’t work in IE.

Create a Mail Merge with Gmail and Google Docs

Let’s say you are organizing a party at your place and want to send personalized email invitations to all your friends. Or say your company is about a launch a new product and you want to share this with media and customers through email.

In both the above examples, all your email messages will essentially have the same content but some elements will be unique (like the recipient’s name) in every copy. For instance, when you are sending a casual email to friends, you might want to have “Hi [Friends’s nickname]” as the greeting while in the case of customers, you will prefer a more formal greeting with their first names.

Mail Merge can obviously save you plenty of time as you can send personalized email messages to multiple people at once. The feature is neither available in Gmail nor Google Apps but there are workarounds like:

Option #1. You can connect your Gmail account with Outlook and then use the Mail Merge feature of Microsoft Office Word to send bulk email messages through Gmail but from your desktop.

Option #2. You can use web based services like MailChimp, Constant Contact, Campaign Monitor, etc. for sending personalized mass emails but they aren’t free.

If none of the above options work for you, here’s a third and better solution – you can setup Mail Merge in Gmail through your Google Docs account – it’s both free and easy to setup. Let’s get started.

gmail and mail merge

Step 1: Assuming that your already have a Gmail account, go to your Google Contacts and create a new Group (let’s say “Media”). Add all the contacts to this group who you want to send a personalized email.

Step 2: Create a copy of this spreadsheet into your own Google Docs account.

Step 3: You’ll see a new “Mail Merge” menu in Google Docs near “Help.” Click “Import Gmail Contacts” and authorize Google Docs to access your Google Contacts.

Step 4: Click Mail Merge –> Import Gmail Contacts again and type the name of the Gmail group (“Media”) that you created in Step 1. Google Docs will now automatically import the relevant Gmail contacts into the spreadsheet.

email address list for mail merge

Step 5: Fill the various fields of the email template (highlighted in green). Change the email subject, email body (line 1-5), fill in your name and also the reply-to email address.

Step 6: Go to the Mail Merge menu again and click “Start Mail Merge” – the status against the names of your Gmail contacts will change from “Pending” to “OK” for all email messages that are successfully delivered through Google Docs.

That’s it! You’ve just completed your first mail merge through Gmail and Google Docs. If any of the steps are not clear, please watch the following video screencast.

Custom Email Templates for Mail Merge

If you would like to use a different email template with mail merge, you can go to Tools –> Scripts –> Script Editor and change the sendEmail() function accordingly.

Here’s the full source code of the macro that runs on the Mail Merge spreadsheet but before you make any changes, please read this section to get yourself familiar with the Google Docs’ scripting environment. Google Docs also supports file attachments and HTML emails so you can be more creative with your email templates.

I have used this in batches of 10-20 email addresses and that has worked without issues but I’m not sure if the Gmail sending limit (that can temporarily lock accounts) applies to Google Docs or not.

Also, the above spreadhsheet uses Gmail but you can also use it with Yahoo! Mail or your Windows Live Hotmail contacts. I’ll share the exact steps in a later tutorial.

Submit a Complete Sitemap of your Blogger Blog to Google for Better Indexing

Sitemaps, in simple English, are text files (see example) containing a list of all web pages that exist on your site. It is important that you create a comprehensive sitemap as it will help Google and other search engines crawl your site better and that might mean more traffic coming your way in the long run.

The Problem with Blogger Sitemap Files

Ideally, the sitemap file should contain all URLs of a site but if your blog is hosted on blogspot.com (or if you are using a self-hosted version of Blogger with a custom domain), you’ll be surprised to know that the default sitemap file (see example) contains only the 26 most recent pages of your blog.

That’s a bad thing because some of your older blog pages, that are missing from the system-generated sitemap file, may never get indexed in search engines. There’s however a simple solution to fix this problem.

Generate a Complete Sitemap for your Blogger Blog

Step 1: If you haven’t done this already, sign-in to your Google Webmasters account and add your blog. For details, check this video tutorial on how to add a blog to Google.

Step 2: Once your blog is added to Google, open the Sitemap Generator and type the full address of your blogspot blog (or your self-hosted Blogger blog).

submit sitemaps

Step 3: What you get is list of sitemap files that contain each and every page of your blog. You now just have to ping Google, Yahoo and Bing to inform them about these XML sitemaps.

As shown in the video screencast below, you need to manually add each of the sitemap files into your Google Webmaster Tools dashboard but for Bing or Yahoo, you can simply click blue hyperlinks and these search engines will automatically download the relevant sitemap files from your blogspot site.

Once all the Sitemaps are added, your Google Dashboard should look something like this.

sitemap added to google

If you see a red cross or an orange exclamation symbol instead of the green tick, that means something is wrong with your XML sitemap. Verify that the file exists by typing the sitemap URL in your browser.

Sometimes media enclosures (like MP3 files) in blog posts can create warnings during sitemap submission. And if you have switched from Blogger to WordPress, it still makes sense to submit sitemaps of your old Blogspot blog as that will only help search engines discover your new WordPress pages. Good luck.

Add Your Blog Sitemap to Google Webmaster

Add Your Blogspot Blog Sitemap to Google Webmaster Tools

Step 1. Open the Google Webmaster Tools website at google.com/webmasters and click "Add a Site" button to submit your Blogger blogger.

You can either type the web address (URL) of your blogspot.com blog or even a self-hosted blog where you are using the Blogger platform with your personal domain.

Step 2. Google will ask you to verify that you are the owner of this blog. Just copy-paste the meta code to the clipboard and then paste* this information into the template of your Blogspot blog.

*You should switch to the "HTML" version of your blog template and paste the code just below the tag.

Step 3. Go back to Google Webmaster Tools and select "Sitemaps" from the right sidebar. Now click the "Submit a Sitemap" button.

blogger sitemap

Step 4. Type atom.xml?redirect=false and submit. Once the clock status icon changes to a green tick, your Blogger sitemap has been successfully submitted to Google for indexing.

* If you are using FeedBurner for your Blogger RSS Feeds, the redirect=false parameter will force Google to download your Blogger feed and not the FeedBurner feed.

Make a File the Size you Need

How to make a file of the size you want ?
Let us assume you want to make a file of size 10000kb
Convert it to bytes -> 10000*1024 which comes out to be 10240000 bytes

Open calculator (win key+r -> type in calc )
Choose view mode to be Scientific one
Type in 10240000 and convert it to hex it comes out to be 9C4000
Convert this value to 8 digits by padding zeroes to its left -> so finally it comes out be 009C4000

Open Command Prompt (win key + r -> type in cmd )
Type DEBUG filename.dat
it'll show file not found error ,ignore it
Type RCX -> Enter -> then last four hexadecimal numbers i.e. 4000 ->Enter
Type RBX -> Enter -> then first four hexadecimal numbers i.e. 009C->Enter
Type W ->Enter
Type Q ->Enter

W stands for write and Q for quit

Now check the file you just made by dir command ->dir filename.dat

Using the same technique you can make files as big as you want

Here is an image to show how exactly everything can be done

Our Recomendation for Free Email service (It can replace Gmail. Try it your self).

Drafts

Gmail now has the capability to save "Drafts" of your messages! If you are in the middle of composing a message, but want to finish it later, just click on the "Save Draft" button now located between the "Send" and "Discard" buttons. This droops the message in a new view located on the left side called "Drafts" located under the "Sent Mail" link and above the "All Mail" link. Later, you can just click on the message, complete it, and then click "Send" normally.

Cleaning Your Contacts

One of Gmail's "features" can leave you with extra entries in your Contacts list. Gmail has a (debatably) nice feature that automatically adds to your Contacts list the email addresses of those to whom you send emails. While this can be helpful at times, just remember that EVERY unique email address you send to gets auto-added.
Log into your Gmail account and click on the "Contacts" link at the top of any Gmail page. A window will open displaying any Contacts you may have. Any you have manually edited will typically have a "Name" and possibly a "Note" associated with it. By default, any Contact Gmail auto-adds and is unedited will not contain any "name" or "note" information, just the email address. Visually scan down the list and look for any that fall into this category. If you find one, determine what to do with it: Delete is, Edit it, or leave it alone. Obviously what you do with it is up to you,

What Happens To Sent Messages
When you "send" a message, two things happen to it:
  1. it gets copied into your "All Mail" view, and
  2. it is visible in the "Sent Mail" view.
Many email clients and Webmail services let you optionally delete all sent messages by default, but Gmail doesn't offer this feature. Here's why...
One of Gmail's intentions is to get you out of the "trash everything" mindset. This is one of the reasons why they offer 1GB of storage.
About Labels
You can add a Label to a message in one of two ways:
  1. If you are viewing a message listing, you can just click the checkbox next to the message, click on the "Apply label..." dropdown, and select the Label you want to apply. Gmail will display the Label just to the left of the message's Subject.
  2. If you are viewing a message, just click on the "Apply label..." dropdown, and select the label you want to apply. Gmail will display the new label to the right of the Subject line.
OK, you assigned a Label to a message, but at a later time, you want to remove it. How do you do that? Just select the Label view from the Labels box on the left, "select" the specific message by clicking the checkbox next to the message, and then click on the "Remove label 'xxxx'" button at the top of the listing. Your label has now been removed!
Reading Messages
Note a couple things: First, no external graphics are displayed. By default, Gmail disables displaying externally referenced graphics. The reason is that many spam messages contain externally referenced graphics. When they are displayed, the email sender can use this to track that you opened the message thus validating your email address for future spam. Clicking on the "Display External Images" link will display the images if you want.
There is one glaring problem: If the original email is HTML or Rich Text formatted, Gmail will strip out ALL formatting including links, fonts, and images. ie: you can only reply in plain text.

Tips for using Search Engine

If you want to search for any topic using search engine, the search engine will search with the given information and will provide a list of links of websites along brief description about each website.

Along with using the right search terms, the following points must be noted to search the information on the internet:

*
Use + sign between words if you want to search for all words. For example, to search blogs of Internet Tips, type as: Blogs+Internet+Tips
*
To search the exact match, write the words in double quotation marks. For example to search the Internet Tips, then type as: "Internet Tips"
*
Avoid to use "and", "or" with search keywords, because these words will affect the search result.
